is top school for SWMO at state, coach says

The Lebanon girls varsity swim team competed at the Girls 2025 MSHSAA State Championship Class 2 swim meet, held on Thursday and Friday, February 20-21, at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, MO.
The team finished 16th overall, narrowly edging out Ozark by one point to become the top SWMO school.
Thursday’s preliminaries trimmed the field from 32 to 16 entries. The Lebanon varsity girls swim team entered four individuals and three relays.

The medley relay of Missy Mizell, Lucy Hough, Addyson McKnight, and Evelyn Martin swam fast enough to earn 11th place in the finals (1:54.69).
In the 50-yard freestyle, Missy finished 4th (23.95), and Lucy tied for 11th (25.03).
The 200-freestyle relay of Addyson, Evelyn, Missy, and Lucy secured 12th place with a time of 1:43.96.
Missy then qualified 6th in the 100-yard backstroke. Lucy closed out the individual events with a 14th place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The 400-yard freestyle relay of Milly Hough, Evelyn Martin, Abigail Tague, and Addyson McKnight finished 30th (4:17.40).
Friday’s finals produced mixed results. The medley relay of Missy Mizell, Lucy Hough, Addyson McKnight, and Evelyn Martin swam slightly slower (1:54.82), maintaining 11th place.
In the 50-yard freestyle, Missy finished seventh (24.10), and Lucy improved to 10th (25.04).
The 200-yard freestyle relay of Addyson, Evelyn, Milly Hough, and Lucy dropped to 16th place (1:50.94).
