Lebanon man killed in I-44 wreck

A Lebanon man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 44 at the westbound 158.8 mile marker in Pulaski County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 36-year-old man from Lebanon, the driver of a westbound 2016 Ram 1500 traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck trees, an embankment and overturned. The driver was transported by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla with what the Highway Patrol described as serious injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, a 78-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by Pulaski County Coroner Roger Graves. The driver was listed as wearing a seat belt. The passenger was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
