Lebanon middle school students to present ‘The Hobbit’

Posted
The Lebanon Middle School Theater department will be putting on a production of J.R.R Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” Friday March 17 and Saturday March 18. The show will begin at 7 p.m. Adults can get a ticket for $5, students are $3, and children five and under can attend for free. The show’s duration is about 60 minutes. According to Lindsey Marcum, the LMS drama teacher, “This is a good piece of literature that is very family friendly. It has been condensed really well into a shorter version, so it is easier for littler kids to come and see. Marcum says the kids have been working really hard. “We started rehearsals immediately after we came back from Christmas break.” From building sets, to learning and memorizing lines, and getting costumes ready, the students have been busy over the past couple of months.
