For the sixth time in seven years, the Lebanon Yellowjackets (10-0 overall) are heading to a district championship on the gridiron.
Unlike in years past, this semifinal game ended in epic fashion, with LHS coming out on top over the Branson Pirates 42-35 to clinch a spot in the Class 5 District 6 championship.
With 16 seconds remaining, the Pirates (5-6 overall) trailed by seven points and needed just nine yards in four plays for a chance to tie or take the lead.
After a spike on first down stopped the clock, Branson used their final timeout after struggling to get a play in.
