After Monday’s win against Kickapoo, the Lebanon boys tennis team lost against two tough opponents, coach Ron Crowell reported.
In the match up against Joplin, Lebanon lost 6-3. Crowell said despite the players not being able to pull out a win, he was proud of their effort and asserted that the match will better the team.
“It was a great high school tennis match. It felt like a heavy weight fight between two really good teams,” Crowell said.
Crowell highlighted Ethan Fisher and Conor McGruder’s win 8-6 in doubles, Kasey Hicks and Josh Rogers’ 8-3 doubles win and Rogers’ 8-3 winning singles performances.
