Lebanon tennis sees loss and victory

Posted

The Lebanon Yellowjackets boys tennis team has seen both defeat and victory in a four day-span. The team also recognized its seniors on Monday.
On Friday, the ‘Jackets lost 7-2 against the Jefferson City Jays despite playing good tennis, Coach Ron Crowell reported. Despite a slow start, particularly in doubles, Crowell reported a well-earned win from Denver Woodruff and Teigan Vance in doubles as well as a good performance from Josh Rogers in singles play.
‘It was a good match despite the loss,” Crowell wrote, “and it will help us get ready for the conference tournament and district tournament that are right around the corner.”
