Linda Marie Callahan, 72, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 19, 1949, in Lebanon, Mo. to George and Roberta Smith Kinnett.
Linda married James Callahan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, James Lee “J.L.’’ Kinnett.
Linda graduated from high school in 1967. After graduation she began working for Civil Service, where she remained for over 35 years. At the time of her retirement she was working the finance department. In her free time, Linda loved hunting and fishing with Jim. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking. She was always in the kitchen. Linda loved her dog Bo and was a wonderful decorator. Her most treasured moments were those spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband James “Jim” Callahan of the home; sister-in-law, Joyce Kinnett of Lebanon; Joyce’s two sons James Lee Kinnett and Robert Steven Kinnett and their families; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dee McDermott and her husband John of Gordon, Wis. and their daughters, Shannon Leisch, Christine Ledin and Michelle Austad and their families; other relatives and many close friends.
