Lucien Lawrence Jr., 96, of Lebanon, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 11, 2022, at his home.
He was born May 10, 1925, in North Dighton, Mass. to Lucien Lawrence Sr. and Augustine (Cote’).
In 2012 he married Arleen Jane Malloy.
He is pre-deceased by his parents; his first wife, Dorothy (Zygala); his brothers, Raymond and George and sisters Margret Lamont and Edna Gonsaules.
After serving in a mortar platoon as a Marine in the Pacific and then China, he worked at Harris Structural Steel in South Plainfield, N.J. for 37 years as a template maker.
He became a Christ follower in 1991 and then a member of Whiting Bible Church where he also served as a caretaker.
Survivors include his second wife Arleen (Malloy); a brother, Robert Lawrence and his wife Patricia of Garwood, N.J.; a daughter, JoAnn Lee and her husband Thomas of Richland and a son, Glenn Lawrence and his wife Theresa of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Rebecca Lawrence, Kathleen Thomas and her husband Mat, Gregory Lawrence and his wife Megan, and Daniel Lawrence and his wife Elizabeth, and eight grandchildren.
