Marcia Mae (Jones) Mason, 72, of Buffalo, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021.
She was born July 13, 1949, in Red Oak, Iowa, to Delmont and Susie Jones.
Marcia moved around the country with her brothers and sisters until they finally and ended up going to school in Shore Acres, Calif. She graduated from Pacifica High School in 1967.
On Jan. 16, 1971, she married Dean Mason. In July of 1973, Dean and Marcia made the decision to move to Missouri. Marcia wanted to be near her parents who had moved there the year before. She had worked several jobs over the years in the Buffalo area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delmont Jones; mother, Susie Jones; and brother, Anthony Jones.
Survivors include her husband Delmont Jones; a daughter, Desiree Mason; a son, Shane Mason; sister, Shonnette Bischoff; brothers, Riley and Shannon Jones; grandchildren, Patience, Dean, and Sebastian Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation for Marcia Mae (Jones) Mason will be held from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
