The Lebanon Laclede County Library has a lot to offer

More than just books

Posted
When most people think of a library, they think of books. At the Lebanon–Laclede County Library, there are books, books and a few more books, not to mention books on tape and movies sometimes based on books. However, this library offers children and adults more than just the facts, entertainment and escapism found in all those books. Story Time "We just try to bring the youth of Lebanon in and expose them to stories and music and crafts ... If you start them young reading books, then they're going to age into an adult who wants to read books and use the library," said Erica Semsch said Children's Library programmer and the coordinator of Outreach services. Semsch presents Story Time held each Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. She said that while she does not turn anyone away, the target group for story time is kids ages two through six years old.
