Nancy June Jones, 74, of Columbia, formerly of Waynesville, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, in the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

She is survived by three children, Thomas Jacobs and wife Laura Redfield-Jacobs of Ashland; Claude Jacobs of Columbia, and Karen Chapman of Lebanon, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Chris Shelley (Maxine), Joseph Jacobs, Jessica Jacobs, Derrick Jones, Joseph Lacey, Eileen Brawley, Regina Smith, Maxine Oglesby, and Spring Kite; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many honorary grandchildren; a sister, Flossie Mendenhall of St. Peters; a brother, Hank Gray (Wanda) of Dixon; her boy friend, Johnnie Laurence off Marshall; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Nancy June Jones will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, in Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
