Overstreet tabbed as next golf coach

The Lebanon R-3 School Board approved the hiring of Trey Overstreet as coach for the boys’ golf team at LHS on February 23. Overstreet takes over for Zach Hines as the next coach for the ‘Jackets. Hines spent four seasons at Lebanon and qualified a handful of golfers for the state tournament during his time. Hines resigned in late January, and Lebanon activities director Will Christian moved quickly in the interview process. “The interview process was a whirlwind,” Overstreet said. “With the change happening so quick before the season starting, things had to move quickly.
