The Lebanon R-3 School Board has modified its COVID-19 policies. The Board voted 6-0 Tuesday to approve changes to the District’s Safe Return To In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan (SRCSP), for individuals who have tested positive for COVID. The Centers for Disease Control released new guidance Dec. 27 which shortens the recommended isolation period for individuals who test positive for COVID-19. Effective immediately, in conjunction with recommendations from the CDC, the District’s policy for COVID positive individuals is as follows: Any student/staff who have tested positive may be eligible to return after 5 days have passed since symptoms first appeared and if they are asymptomatic, or symptoms are resolving: For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
