Rebecca Marie “Becky’’ Hill, 77, of Camdenton, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Columbia.
She was born September 13, 1947, to James and Virbria (Leffert) Wilson.
On September 5, 1967, she was united in marriage to Danny Alvin Hill.
Those preceding her in death include her parents; her husband Danny on December 5, 2015; one son, Daniel Alvin Hill; and one sister, Linda Anne Wilson Hill.
Although her top priority was tending to the needs of her family, Becky also worked in various factories over the years. In her free time she enjoyed genealogy and exploring family history. She loved raising her sheep and had an extensive flower garden. She had quite a green thumb. However, nothing compared to the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of Ira Missionary Baptist Church and for many years has faithfully attended New Hope Gospel Church in Crocker.
Becky is survived by two children, James Hill and his wife Rebecca of Stoutland, Mo. and Danielle Marie Green and her husband Stacy of Richland, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Chasten and her husband Paul and Susie Reid and her husband David, all of Lebanon, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Chelsey Michelle Webster and her husband Anthony, Anna Marie Hill and her significant other Clay Ridenour, Lindsey Jean Roberts and her husband Alan, Meredith Nicole Neptune and her husband Blake, Dylan Howe Green, Olyvia Dawn Marie Green, Kimberly Brooke Avalos and her husband Jeremy, Tyler James Perry and Lacey Marlene White; ten great-grandchildren, Isaiah Stacy Webster, Ella Rae Bell, Eli Matthew Bell, Noah Dean Bell, Raven Jade Hill, Juniper Jean Roberts, Aurora Fae Ridenour, Alex Kolton Avalos, Kaleb Walker Avalos and Kody Lane Avalos; two sisters-in-law, Norma Snelling and her husband Bob and Kathryn Hill; several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; other relatives and countless friends.
Funeral services for Rebecca Marie “Becky’’ Hill will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Rev. Phil Burns and Rev. Aaron Frederick officiating. There is no scheduled burial. At her request, her body is to be cremated following the service. Visitation will be at 3 p.m., also on Saturday, February 1, 2025, until service time at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
