Rex D. Lane, 57, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Lebanon.
He was born Dec. 31, 1964, in Columbia, Mo. to Louie Bass and Betty Lane.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry Lane, and one half-sister Wanda Jacobs.
Rex worked for a short time as a truck driver, and for the last several years worked at the Free Store in Lebanon. He also worked for Marine Electric in Lebanon, and at several nursing homes in the area. In younger days, he went to school for landscaping design. He enjoyed collecting figurines, WWE Wrestling, and playing video games. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family.
He is survived by his children, Robin Lane of Moberly, and Gabby Lane of Lebanon; a brother, Craig Lane and his wife Chrisanna of Rio Rancho, N.M.; brother-in-law, Bob Jacobs; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Rex D. Lane will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel Family Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
