Robert Kenneth Chapman, 85, of Mountain Grove, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 in Springfield.
He was born May 3, 1936, in Hartville, Mo. to Olath and Flora (Pierce) Chapman.
Robert grew up in the Hartville area and married Billie Walker.
He accepted Christ as his savior as a young man. He served in the First Free Will Baptist Church in Mountain Grove as well as other churches as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, and other positions.
Kenneth served his military time in the United States Army at Fort Gordon in Georgia and For Belvoir in Virginia.
He is survived by his wife Billie Chapman; daughter, Kimbra (Eric) Brower, and son Keith (Lana) Chapman; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his niece Vicki Keys.
Funeral services for Robert Kenneth Chapman will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Mountain Grove, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
