Salvation Army looking to expand their team

Posted
The Salvation Army and many eager community members met Wednesday, March 8 to discuss ways to grow their team during their Lunch & Learn event. A lot of delicious food such as pulled pork sandwiches, soup, and a table full of desert was served while Becca Clay, Director of Service Extension, spoke to attendees about the importance of what the Salvation Army does and ways they can help. According to Clay, “The needs are endless, and we cannot do this alone. What we are trying to do here as we move into this new season for the Salvation Army is, we are looking to build from this great foundation that we have. We are looking to level up and bring on new people who have voices from different parts of the community to see what needs we are missing.” “We have no desire to duplicate services, we are evaluating what we do now and what we need to do in the future.” Clay says that having people from different spheres of the community is going to be really helpful with knowing what services to start providing.
