SHERYL JEAN McGUIRE

Sheryl Jean McGuire, 58, of Lebanon, died Saturday, March 26, 2022, in Lebanon.

She was born Nov. 5, 1963, in Camdenton, Mo. to Gene and Shirley Webster Rooffener.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Johnny McGuire.

She graduated from Camdenton High School. In February of 1992, she married Johnny McGuire and to this union was born one son, Justin Logan McGuire. Sheryl enjoyed tending to her flower garden and bargain hunting at garage sales. Most recently she was employed with Emerson Electric, where she operated the scroll machine, along side her son. Most importantly, she loved the Lord and was dedicated to the word of the Bible. She was a devoted Christian servant and loved her family deeply.

Sheryl was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son Justin Logan McGuire and his wife Ashleigh of Lebanon; siblings, Shirley Pope and her husband Glen of Eldridge; Sharon Arnold and her husband Stephen of Camdenton; Marvin Rooffener and his wife Makayla of Owensville, and Stephanie Gerard and her husband Mark of Camdenton; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Sheryl Jean McGuire will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist Church in Decaturville with Pastor Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Mount Horeb Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
