SSG (Ret) Anthony Earl Covert, 77, of Falcon, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, in the Lake Regional Hospital of Osage Beach.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Covert of the home; two children, Kelly Capowski of Columbia and Danny Stranigan (Kim) of Elizabeth City, N.C.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Palmer (David) of Jekyll Island, Ga., and Susan Harrower (Roger) of Jamestown, Ky.; brother-in-law, Ralph Ozzella of Olean, N.Y.; aunt, Doris Stone of Randolph, N.Y.; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, under the direction of Memorials Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the New Life Ministries Church of Plato.
