STANLEY JUNIOR HANDLEY

Stanley Junior Handley, 67, of Falcon, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, in his home.

He was born April 24, 1954, in Lynchburg, Mo. to Junior Leland and Mildred Ruth Blankenship Handley, who preceded him in death.

On Nov. 16, 1974, he was united in marriage to Janet Ruth Barnett, and to this union one son was born.

He lived his entire life in the Lynchburg area and attended Plato Schools. After he and Janet were married, they made their home near Lynchburg, and lovingly raised their son. He began working for Osmose Wood Processing Company for several years, and then worked for Farmland Grain Company for a number of years. Later, he worked for Walmart. He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing with his son. He showed Fox Trotter Horses for a number of years and liked running the Gator with his family.

Stanley had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pine Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet of the home; a son, Douglas Lee Handley of St. Joseph; two granddaughters, Kaylee Dawn Clark and her husband Ridge of Hamilton, Mo. and Korbie Ryan Handley of St. Joseph; three great-granddaughters, Sawyer Grace, Kelsie Clark and Tegan Clark; two sisters, Dorislee McClure of Plato and Rosalee Baker of Rolla; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial for Stanley Junior Handley were held Saturday, March 6, 2022, at Pine Creek Cemetery with Jim Terry officiating, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.

A memorial has been established to Pine Creek Baptist Church and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
