Lebanon’s Sunbonnet Garden Club won a top state honor last month.
The Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri presented the club with the garden club of the year award at the annual state convention in St. Joseph May 2-5.
This is the highest honor a club can achieve, Sunbonnet Garden Club President Margie Wild said. The club was presented with a trophy and certificate. This is the first time the Sunbonnet Garden Club has won this award.
