Not content with sending a handful of athletes to the state competition this year, the Yellowjacket boys golf team is determined to compete together.
Head Coach Trey Overstreet was pleased with the 2025 team’s win at the Central Ozark Conference Championships but knew during the Record’s interview that the season’s battles were not done yet.
“It’s time to stay levelheaded and play with confidence but with a gentle reminder that [with] golf, out of all the sports in the world, your best days and your worst days are the farthest apart in terms of what they feel like,” Overstreet said.
