Teresa Jo “Scanner’’ Broyles Jones, 61, of Lebanon, died Thursday evening, Dec. 23, 2021, at her home in Lebanon.

She was born Oct. 19, 1960, in Lebanon, Mo. to Jerry and Betty Janes Broyles.

In 1977, Teresa married Jackie Williams, and to his union one son, Joe was born. On Feb. 1, 1992, she married Carroll E. Jones and they shared 25 years together before his death on May 12, 2017.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Gene, as well as her parents.

She was born and raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1978. She worked at McDonald’s Restaurant for over 20 years and also combined working at H.D. Lee and Casey’s, where she was known for handling difficult customers. She also volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House. She greatly enjoyed her work at McDonald’s.

Teresa has been saved and attended Faith Pentecostal Church. She had a deep abiding faith in God.

Survivors include her son, Joe Williams and his wife Joni, of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Jaylie, Jayden, Jett, and Jude Williams, all of Lebanon; her grandmother, Effie Henson of Lebanon; sister, Missy Broyles and her fiance’, Dave Wallace of Licking; three nieces and nephews, Michael Paul II, Jessica Huff and her husband Gary, and Jacob Paul and his wife Samantha; a half-brother, Jerry L. Broyles III of Lebanon; a stepbrother, Jimmy Duncan of Lebanon; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Teresa Jo “Scanner’’ Broyles Jones will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Pastor Brad Reed and the Rev. Gary Sheets officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park in Lebanon, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. A memorial to the Ronald McDonald House has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
