Thomas Harold Judy Sr., 78, of Lebanon, died Friday morning, March 18, 2022, in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab.

He was born July 28, 1943, in Danville, Ill. to Ralph and Grace Hopkins Judy.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gerald Judy; and three sisters, Janice Roulin, Doris House, and Jeannie Orvis.

He was born in Illinois, and then moved with his family to the family farm near Lebanon, where he graduated from Conway High School. He then attended college for a time before joining the United States Air Force. He married Ruth Ann Lappin and together they had three children. He worked at Detroit Tool Company for a time and then moved ti Illinois where he worked in the maintenance department for the Sears and Roebuck Company for several years. Later in life, Tom formed a deep and lasting relationship with Micheline Moore.

He had made his profession of faith in Christ and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He loved the Lord and had a deep and abiding faith.

Survivors include two sons, William Judy and Thomas Judy Jr. and his wife Rose; a daughter, Anna Barnes and her husband Timmy; five grandchildren, Alicia, Danielle, Jessica, Ethan and Savannah; seven great-grandchildren, Koltyn, Kale, Oakley, Dailyn, Deonna, Desiree and Dominque.

Graveside services and burial for Thomas Harold Judy Sr. were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022, in the New Hope Cemetery near Long Lane, under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. For more information or to view or sign the online memorial visit www.holmanhowe.com.
