TOMMIE DEAN DINWIDDIE

Tommie Dean Dinwiddie, 89, of Lebanon, died Saturday morning, March 12, 2022, at Springfield Nursing and Rehab in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 5, 1932, near Lebanon, Mo. to Tommy Monroe and Della May Savage Dinwiddie.

Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Norma.

She lived her entire life in the Lebanon area inside Laclede County. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School. She worked for the H.D. Lee Company for several years and then worked at the Sand Spring Resort Restaurant until retiring. She was also a devoted homemaker to her family. She loved gardening and taking care of her yard and her goldfish pond.

Tommie was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church for a number of years, and later attended Washington Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Gloria Diane Hawkinson of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Vicky Aller and her husband Jake of Appleton City and Shannon Vaughn of Lebanon; three great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Austin and Jaxen; a brother, Charlie Dinwiddie of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Tommie Dean Dinwiddie will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
