Vernon Davis Jones, 97, of Elkland, was born May 18, 1927, in Webster County, Mo. to Veron and Bessie (Davis) Jones and died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.
He is survived by his son, Donald Jones and his wife Stacy of Lebanon; his daughter, Connie Terrill and husband Larry of Elkland; 11 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Rita Sexton.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2024, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial was in Mission Chapel Cemetery near Elkland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mission Chapel Cemetery and left in care of the funeral home.
