Vita Dell Abercombie, 91, of Buffalo, was born Feb. 26, 1934 in Jane, Mo. to Ralph and Myrtle (Wylie) Johnson and died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, in her home.
She is survived by three sons, Keith (Terrie) Abercombie, Joe (Linda) Abercombie, and Steve Abercombie; three daughters, Sheryl Lindsey, Becky (Lonnie) Stokes, and Sandy (Bob) Acker; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church in Buffalo, under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
