WILLIAM LAWRENCE WILSON

William Lawrence Wilson, 71, of Stoutland, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at his home.

He was born Aug. 31, 1950, in Camden County, Mo. to the late Ralph and Ada (Drake) Wilson.

William was united in marriage to Phyllis Lorene Henson.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He had worked for Carmeco, Tracker and Emerson. He enjoyed bowling, being a Kansas City Chiefs fan, playing dominoes and cards, especially Pinochle.

William was saved at an early age and baptized in 1966 along with his sister Dee. He was a member of Stoutland Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis of the home; two sons, Mark William Wilson and his wife Sandy of Lebanon, and Adam Leon Wilson and his wife Kelley of Olathe, Kan.; grandchildren, Jordan Lawrence Edwin Wilson, Nicholas Ryan Wilson, Lucas “Lon’’ Wilson and Alexandria Rain Wilson; one brother, Henry Dale Wilson of Lebanon; four sisters, Donna Lee Darling and her husband Hubert of Lebanon; Roberta Whitcomb and husband Ken of Austin, Texas; Delores Burgess of Lebanon and Elizabeth Wilson of Springfield; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service for William Lawrence Wilson will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery Fort Leonard Wood-Waynesville.
