ZIOLA FAYE (UTECHT) HEITHOLD

Ziola Faye (Utecht) Heithold, 80, of Marshfield, died Friday, December 17, 2021.

She was born May 13, 1941, in Wausa, Nebraska, to Delbert and Janet (Skalberg) Utecht.

 Ziola graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska, and taught second grade before marrying Richard Heithold on June 11, 1965, and becoming a full time mother residing in California. After moving to Elkland, Missouri in 1971, she was a substitute teacher for Marshfield and Fair Grove school districts and later became a secretary for McCurry Distributing and retired from Keltner Enterprises. Ziola was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and cherished her church family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she served on the altar guild for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and making multiple phone calls to her children, grandchildren, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Kenneth Heithold. She is survived by her brother, Dennis Utecht (Donna) of Norfolk, Nebraska; her children, Charlene Aylor (Chris) of Marshfield, Robert Heithold (Sandra) of Marshfield, and Nancy Leonard (Eric) of Springfield; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

 Graveside services for Ziola Faye Heithold were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Elkland, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.

 Ziola’s family is grateful for the compassionate care of WebCo Manor and Mercy Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 609 North Locust Street, Marshfield, Mo. 65706 or left in the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
