AVERY LEWIS DINGUS

Avery Lewis Dingus, 21, of Richland, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, in Chesterfield, Mo.

He was born Sept. 29, 2000, in Ulysses, Kan. to Steven and Elizabeth Hindman Dingus.

Avery was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Hindman, and grandmother Leeta Dingus.

He was home schooled and had worked at Eagle Stop and Domino’s Pizza. He was currently attending OTC and was studying flight. He was a second degree black belt, studying at Summit Taekwondo Center in Lebanon. Avery enjoyed drama and had participated in several productions with Lebanon Drama Troop. He enjoyed anything outdoors and most of all loved time spent with family and friends. Everyone loved Avery; he was a sweet soul with a forgiving spirit.

Avery was a member of Cornerstone Church in Richland.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Elizabeth “Liz” Dingus; brothers Quincy, Wesley, Malachi “Squiggy”, and Darby; sisters Chassidy, Bethany and Khloey; grandfather Clyde Hindman of Lebanon; grandfather Clarence “Red” Dingus of Holcomb, Kan.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family.

A Celebration of Life for Avery Lewis Dingus will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Shepherd officiating. There is no scheduled burial. He is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested to the family of Avery Dingus.
