City Council sets 2024 vote on non-medical marijuana ban

Posted
Lebanon voters will decide whether to ban non-medical marijuana in the next general election. The Lebanon City Council on Monday night voted 7-0 to hold an election on whether to ban non-medical marijuana dispensaries in the city if approved by 60 percent of the voters in the Nov. 5, 2024 election. The action is in response to the legalization of non-medical marijuana in the State of Missouri, which was approved by voters in the November 2022 election. The Council vote means the question will appear on the November 2024 ballot. For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
