Laclede County had more reports of COVID-19 infections in the first two weeks of January than it has had in any other two-week period since the pandemic started.
The Laclede County Health Department released a chart Tuesday showing how the COVID-19 numbers have changed since the beginning of the pandemic.
Each week, the health department reports the following two week’s worth of positive cases. On Jan. 14, it reported 553 positive cases had been reported in the past 14 days. The latest number is the highest one reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
