Dennis Dale Massey, 60, of Falcon, died Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in his home near Falcon.

He was born April 16, 1961, in Waynesville, Mo. to Dale and Ruth (Camper) Massey.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Blakely Davis; one granddaughter, Danika Davis; Dean Towe, who was like a father to him; his stepfather, Bill Hale; and a special brother-in-law, Gerald Girens.

He was ornery and liked to tease everyone. His nickname was “Dennis the Menace’’ but his humor was joyous and created numerous smiles and laughter throughout the years. Dennis was a hard worker and dedicated 26 years working for Towe Construction Company where they were all like a a family to him. He loved to run heavy equipment, was a math wiz and had a knack for numbers.

He is survived by a daughter Alecia Davis and husband Derick of Falcon; a granddaughter, Dericka Davis; grandson, Brantley Davis; two sisters, Daylene Goss of Nixa and Janetta Girens of Battlefield; four brothers, Brad Massey and his wife Sherry of Marshfield; Kevin Massey of Houston, Mo.; Calvin Massey of Cabool and Billy Hale of Lebanon; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial for Dennis Dale Massey will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 in the Big Piney Cemetery at Plato, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. No formal visitation is scheduled. Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Free Store Ministry and may be left at the funeral home.
