Gary Glenn “Bub’’ Anthony, 50, of Lebanon, died Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Lebanon.

He was born April 25, 1973, in Lebanon to Gary Clark Anthony and Glenda Darlene (Stark) Hayden.

Those preceding him in death include his father, Gary Clark Anthony and one daughter, Macey Anthony.

Bub was currently working in the Lawn and Garden Department at Lowe’s. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed “trying his luck” at the casino and with lottery tickets. In younger years, he enjoyed going to the sale barn to trade cattle, attempting to follow in his father’s footsteps, whom he always looked up to. However, visiting with family and friends, sharing laughter and memories is what he treasured most.

Bub was saved as a young boy and rededicated his life to Christ in 2008.

Gary “Bub” is survived by three daughters, Hailey Anthony of Lebanon, Mikalyn Anthony, also of Lebanon, and Madison Brock and her husband Mason of Eldon; his mother, Glenda Hayden of Lebanon; siblings, Shelly Walters of Columbia, Jeanie Stephens and her husband Robert of Lebanon, and Kim Anthony of Branson; nieces and nephews, Zane and Zach Walters, Candace Fulton, Lauren Cotrel, Robbie and Hunter Stephens, Jake Anthony and their families; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Conway. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, April 4, 2024, also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Bub’s family to help with funeral expenses. Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
