Lebanon sees major growth in housing

Posted
The sound of hammers, nail guns and saws is being heard in many Lebanon neighborhoods since homes, fourplexes and apartment buildings are going up in increasing numbers. “I don’t know if folks realize the kind of development we have going on in housing and how it covers every price point,” City Administrator Michael Schumacher said. Construction in a wide array of price rangers and the remodeling of some existing structures is making moving out and moving up a possibility. “What our goal is to try to get every different level of housing something that fits everybody’s needs. That’s kind of complicated on our end when you’re trying to get people to do that,” Joe Berkich, the city’s code administrator and building official, said. For more on this story, see the LCR.
