Richard Dean Christiansen, 78, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Lebanon.
He was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Clark C. Christiansen and Rose L. (Nelson Christiansen. They moved to Missouri in 1948.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Rose Christiansen; one brother, Clark Christiansen Jr., and sisters, Phylliss (Christiansen) Beiderman, and Bette Christiansen.
He attended Lebanon High School and graduated in 1961. He worked for H.D. Lee for 40-plus years. Richard enjoyed going to church, playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include one brother, Bob Christiansen and his wife Edna; one daughter, Kimberlynn R. (Christiansen) Boggs and her husband Maurse Boggs; one son, Charles Christiansen and his wife Dana; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Richard Dean Christiansen will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at Community Baptist Church on Missouri 64, west of Lebanon.
