Inclement weather Thursday led to three injury accidents reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Two people from Chicago, Ill. were hurt in a wreck that involved two vehicles at 9:57 a.m. on Interstate 44 at the westbound 118 mile marker.
The wreck occurred when Alfonso U. Esparza, 82, of Chicago, Ill., the driver of a westbound 2004 Ford Econoline Van began to slide, travelled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Debris from the vehicle struck a westbound 2017 Lincoln Navigator driven by Timothy E. Rodden, 35, of Phillipsburg.
