The Lebanon Board of Public Works approved updating the city’s cost of service utility studies at its meeting on Wednesday. According to Public Works Director Richard Shockley, a study was done in 2021 using 2019 and 2020 data for electric and water. “We’d like to get a new cost-of-service study for the next three to five years to see where we need to be and make sure we’re charging our customers correctly, not only by rate, but by class also,” Shockley said.
