Bobby Joe Lane, 90, of Springfield, was born Jan. 7, 1934, in Montreal, Mo. to Alfred H. “Jake’’ and Ethel Baker Lane and died Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Doris of the home; children, James Michael Lane and wife Donna of Huntington, W.V. and Phyllis Anne Finnell and husband Ed of Springfield; a sister, Florence Sybil Oursbourn of Lebanon; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in High Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
