The family of Carol Ann Stone (Williams), of Competition, Missouri, is saddened to announce her passing away on November 5th, 2025.
Carol was born in Putnam County, Missouri on August 20, 1951, to Cora and Edward Williams. A majority of her childhood was spent in Rockford, Illinois alongside her siblings: Louise, Kathryn, Johnny, Wesley, and Shirley.
Carol married the love of her life, Timothy Stone, on August 5, 1978, uniting themselves and each of their sons as one family. The Stone Family then traversed their 47 years of marriage living in Illinois and later settling in Missouri.
Carol loved to be around family. Throughout the years she enjoyed hosting numerous family dinners, usually followed by lengthy card games. Carol took great pride in making homes and kept her home and her yard meticulously. She loved flowers and watching birds and was an avid antique cookie jar collector.
A family memorial party in Carol’s honor will be held at the NWTC Lions Club in Roby, Missouri, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.
