This is a new engagement feature in which we ask readers and commenters for their feedback on local issues as well as features and concerns of the newspaper. The general format stays the same from week to week.
First, a summary of the responses to last week’s questions regarding sports scores and automated license plate readers as of Friday at 5 p.m.
Regarding sport scores (“When you read sports scores in the newspaper, what format do you prefer to read them in?”), all three votes on our website’s poll preferred a chart format.
Regarding automated license plate readers (“Which of these responses best captures your sentiment about law enforcement’s use of automated license plate readers (ALPRs) such as Flock Safety?”), nine votes on our website’s poll said the risks of ALPRs outweigh the benefits. Six votes said that they are a public safety tool. One vote was for “Other (please elaborate).
