Cedric Marcus Charles, 78, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on July 9, 2026.
He is survived by three children: Toby Charles, Toshia Charles, and Courtney Charles. In addition to his three children, Cedric poured that same love into raising Charlene Valentine and Alicia Safford. Through his children, Cedric was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Kalvin Charles, Kolby Charles, Derrell Ellis Jr., Amaru Howard, Devonte Safford, Jordan, Jaden, Makayla, Micah Charles-Ellington, and Kingston Harris.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert with a repass to follow from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 3176, located at 17305 Superior Rd, St. Robert, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, Mo.
