Charles Raymond “Ray’’ Sears, 78, of Ava, was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Denver, Colo. to Charles Jefferson and Gertrude Ellen (Jones) Sears and died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Sally Sears; two sons, Tanner Sears (Heidi) and Brady Sears (Kristy Sagely), also three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Odin Community Church near Hartville, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mansfield.
