Clarissa Ann (Leighty) Washburn, 88, of Lynchburg, was born Nov. 30, 1936, in Huggins, Mo. to George and Zonia (Butts) (Lemons) Leighty and died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Houston House Nursing Home in Houston, Mo.
She is survived by a daughter, Gail Barton and her husband Ron; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at Dutch Chapel Cemetery near Lynchburg, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dutch Chapel Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
