Community Cares Day of Giving receives record donations

After a day of volunteers stationed at intersections around Lebanon, Lebanon Area Foundation Administrator Melinda Fries announced that Thursday’s Day of Giving took in a record number of donations. “Everybody did this together,” Fries said. The Lebanon Area Foundation’s Day of Giving, which is part of their Community Cares fall campaign to raise funds for local nonprofits, received $51,909.03 and exceeded their goal of $40,000 in donations for the day.
