Dale Brady, 78, of Falcon, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, in Springfield.

He was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Anaheim, Calif. to Eugene “Gene’’ Dewitt and Lillie Ada Matthews Brady, who preceded him in death.

Dale married Phyllis Fern Tracy.

He was a computer software engineer for many years.

Dale was a longtime, active and faithful member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Brady; his son, Matthew Brady and his wife Beth of Richland; two daughters, Tracy Barber and her husband Bart of Farmersville, Texas and Sharon Fletcher and her husband Kevin of Houston, Texas; his sister, Marsha Ann Brady Prock and her husband Stanley of Falcon; eight grandchildren, Lydia, Nathan, Lily and Ella Brady, James Dale “Jim” Barber and Sarah Barber, Andrea O’Neal and her husband Daylan and Jessica Fletcher; other relatives; church family and countless friends.

Funeral services for Dale Brady will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church with Pastors Matt Brady, Bart Barber, Bill Jetton and David Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6 at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. In lieu of memorial gifts, the family encourages you to support your local church by volunteering or helping with the children’s ministry.
