Dale Linn Admire

Dale Linn Admire, 78, of Lebanon, died Monday, January 19, 2026, in Falcon, Missouri.

He was born October 10, 1947, in Wright County, Missouri to Dennis Lavell and Vera Marie (Massey) Admire.

On September 4, 1970, he was united in marriage to Judith “Judy’’ Shamel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Mike Hillhouse.

Dale proudly served our country in the United States Army, where he was a medic during Vietnam. After his honorable discharge, he began working for Laclede Electric, where he eventually retired as Crew Foreman, after thirty-two years. Dale was also a longtime farmer, “Mr. Fix-It’’ for his family and friends, as well as a wonderful neighbor, ready and willing to help anyone in their time of need.

Dale is survived by his wife, of fifty-five years, Judy; two children, Lesley Hough and her husband Jeremiah and David Admire and his wife Sandra, all of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Bailey Ehrhardt and her husband Jack, Myah Hough, Kory Hough, Davin Admire, Brayden Admire and Piper Admire; two brothers, Don Admire and his wife Becky of Lebanon, Missouri and Leonard Admire and his wife Karin of Falcon, Missouri; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bill Shamel and his wife Sherry of Lebanon, Missouri, Vicki Goans and her husband Jerry of Lebanon, Missouri and Laura Hillhouse of Falcon, Missouri and their families; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and countless friends.

Funeral services for Dale Linn Admire will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Rev. Neal Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in McBride Cemetery with military honors by the United States Army.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2026 beginning at 5:00, also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
