Don Newberry, 82, of Vanzant, was born April 24, 1942, in Macomb and died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, in Mountain Grove.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn; a daughter, Donna Frost and her husband Eddie of Cabool; two grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse Newberry and his wife Linda of Lebanon, and Wayne Newberry and his wife Lauri of Tipton; three sisters, Diana Creiger and her husband Mike of Fair Grove, Connie Klund of Jefferson City, and Dana Robertson of Springfield, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Sherri and Carolyn Newberry of Mountain Grove; and one brother-in-law, Pete Proctor of Mountain Grove.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Visitation was 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home.
