Donald Wayne Gaunt, 83, of Buffalo, was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Buffalo to Clifford and Claudia (Bennett) Gaunt and died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Gayle; three children, Donald Wayne Gaunt and his wife Pam of Nixa, Lezley Chastain and her husband Rick of Pleasant Hope, and David Allen Gaunt and his wife Amy of Strafford; one sister, Christine Marie Hug of Kansas; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, in Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m.
