Earnest “Wayne” Box, 78 of Waynesville, Mo., passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 in his home.
He is survived by his wife: Ginny Box of the home; two daughters: Kelly Palen (Greg) of Marthasville, Mo. and Kim Knickmeyer (Matt) of Marthasville, Mo.; one son: Nathan Box (Amber) of Waynesville, Mo.; one brother: Terry Box (Jane) of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren; several other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in the Westside Baptist Church of Waynesville, Mo. Burial with military honors was in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville, Mo.
Visitation was held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Wayne Box to the Waynesville/St. Robert Animal Shelter (where he adopted his fur babies, Bubba and Sadie) and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
